About Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are thin shells of ceramic that we bond directly to the front surfaces of your teeth. They are simple and versatile, making them an excellent choice for patients who want to improve the appearance of their smile.

Dr. Lanik and our dental hygienists have many years of experience in making sure your veneers look beautiful and natural.

Our Dental Veneers Process

Dr. Lanik will consult with you to determine if veneers are right for you. Patients of all ages can benefit from dental veneers, so we are happy to see teens and adults.

We will discuss the dental veneer procedure with you in-depth, but here are the basic steps to keep in mind while you are considering veneers:

Dental Impression

Dr. Lanik will take an impression of your mouth to send to our highly skilled lab technicians, who will then build your veneer. As part of his consultation with you, he’ll recommend the best shape and shade for your smile goals.

Tooth Preparation

Dr. Lanik will then etch the surface of the tooth which includes shaping down the enamel on the teeth.

Placement

Once the veneer is sent back from our lab, Dr. Lanik will place the veneer over top of your tooth and then bond it into place. He’ll make any needed adjustments to ensure your tooth function and look natural.

Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Veneers

  • Porcelain veneers are meant to be resistant to coffee, cigarettes, and tea.
  • When placed correctly, your veneers should look like your natural teeth.
  • They resemble white health tooth enamel.
  • They are one of the most affordable cosmetic dental options to make your teeth look bright and healthy.
