Kathy - Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Kathy has worked in the dental field most of her adult life.  After several years as a Certified Dental Asistant (CDA), Kathy decided to further her career and became an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA).  This allows Kathy to restore teeth as well as other extended duties.  Kathy graduated from Case Western School of Dentistry's EFDA program in 2000.  She states she "has had the privilege of working with some of the best dentists in the Akron/Canton area, but is especially pleased to be involved in the friendly and caring practice of Peak Dental Arts".  Kathy has been a member of Dr. Lanik's team for the past nine years.  In 2009, Kathy began teaching Expanded Functions in the Dental Hygiene Department of Stark State College.

When Kathy is not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children.  Her interests include her two horses, gardening, skiing, flower arranging, and just about anything outdoors.

Katie - Dental Assistant

Katie joined the Peak Dental Arts team in 2009 as a chairside Dental Assistant.  Katie received her training at the Akron Dental And Medical Institute.  She began her eight years in the dental field by working in an Orthodontic office.  Katie is in the process of becoming a Certified Dental Assistant with plans of becoming an Expanded Function Dental Assistant to further her career and help our patients with their smiles.

Katie enjoys spending time with her husband Eric and their children, Clayton and Ace.  She enjoys camping, riding their horses, and anything outdoors.  

Kaye - Receptionist

Kaye has been a member of the Peak Dental Arts team since January, 2007. She brings with her 23 years of clinical experience in the dental industry. Kaye is able to utilize this clinical experience when helping you schedule appointments and understand your insurance benefits.

Kaye enjoys travel and camping with her husband, Mike, in their RV. In her spare time, Kaye enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.       

Linda - Office Manager

Linda began working with Dr. Lanik in April, 1992, to assist in the computer automation of the practice.  During this time Linda’s primary duties have been to develop in-office policies and procedure to help run the office smoothly.  Linda’s previous work experience in the banking and medical insurance industry has enabled her to assist patients maximize their dental benefits.  Linda continues to work with Dr. Lanik on keeping Peak Dental Arts updated with the state-of-art technology to better serve our patients.

Linda is a proud graduate of Lake High School and The University of Akron.  After spending five years in Texas, Linda returned to the Uniontown area.  She is the proud mother of an adult son, Shaun, who is currently serving in the United State Air Force.  Linda is looking forwarded to welcoming a new daughter-in-law, Clair, into her family in 2012.  Most of Linda’s  spare time is spent paper crafting, quilting and traveling to as many of the national parks in the United States as possible.

Lynn - Dental Hygienist

Lynn is a 1979 The Ohio State University and has been working as a Dental Hygienist for over 33 years. She joined Dr. Lanik’s practice in 1994 and have enjoyed being a part of this growing practice. Lynn especially like the technology of dental programs for patients and the availability of the intraoral camera for patients and staff to view problems in the mouth together.  She is a member  of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association and is active in the local dental hygiene society.

Lynn lives in Greentown with my husband and enjoys reading, gardening and stamping in my free time. She is a member of the Dragon Dream Team, Ohio's first all breast cancer survivor dragon boat racing team. 

Mary - Scheduling Coordinator

Theresa - Dental Hygienist

Theresa is a graduate of Lakeland Community College and has held a license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) since 1995.  She joined Peak Dental Arts' dental team in 2003.

Theresa is a lifetime resident of Uniontown.  Theresa and her husband, Steve, have two children (Nathan and Erin) that keep her busy with multiple activities, such as football, baseball, basketball, swimming, soccer, bowling and girl scouts.  She also enjoys scrapbooking memories of her kids and socializing with her friends.
